Summary
I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Social Science (Psychology) from City University of Hong Kong, and I am a graduate of the Master programme in Counselling Psychology offered by HKSYU.I have worked in a local primary school providing counselling and guidance for students with special educational needs, provided career counselling to individuals who were receiving the CSSA, and provided individual psychological counselling to university students and the general public experiencing different distresses in life.
I received trainings in various therapeutic approaches such as Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family and Couple Therapy, Child Play Therapy, and Psychological Assessments. I am currently a member of the Hong Kong Psychological Society, as well as the Hong Kong Professional Counselling Association (Membership No.: M1925).
Counselling is a journey of company. I stay together with my clients to face difficulties and challenges in life. I listen to their stories, understand their pain, contain their feelings, identify their strengths, and accompany my clients along the journey.
In counselling, I am familiar with Adlerian psychotherapy and CBT. I speak fluently in Cantonese and Mandarin.
